Welfare is right: It won't ruin anything, but ideal cooling is achieved with the coolant/water mix.

w/ Rear heater: 9.0 liters (9.5 US qts, 7.9 Imp. qts) w/o Rear heater: 8.0 liters (8.5 US qts, 7.0 Imp. qts).
So....did they drain it only half way? How old is the old stuff that's still in there?
Assuming you have an adequate spot to work on the vehicle, this is what I'd do: Drain it...with the heater valves open and the rad cap off, you can get almost all the coolant out via the little petcock on the bottom of the radiator. Let it drain for a long time---the last 1/2 quart or so comes out at a very slow rate. Let it dribble for an hour.
Then refill with a proper dilution of coolant and distilled water.
