Fully Customized Stereo Install...SQ not SPL

Hi all,

Just wanted to let you know that if things go according to schedule, I will complete my custom stereo install tomorrow evening (I have to since I'm supposed to go on a trip Saturday). My wife wasn't too keen on the idea, but I promised her that there would be room for my golden retriever Jaeger (pronounced Yager).

Anyway, I'm almost complete installing the following:

2 sets of Boston Acoustic 6.5 Pro Series component sets (front and rear)
2 Boston Acoustic Pro Series 10.5 LF (2 ohm) Subs
Kenwood 7015 Double Din DVD/Radio
Kenwood DSP
Hifonics Brutus 1000 watt Class-D amp
Hifonics Zeus 6400 4-ch amp
Dension Icelink Ipod connector
SWI-X Steering wheel controller
3 Farad Chome Cap

Sounds like a lot and believe me the install has been challenging, fun and a learning experience. I have lots of photos to include modifying the stock speakers to become my 6.5" speaker mounts, false floor fabrication, fiber glassing, carpeting, lighting, etc.

As I said, check back late Friday or Saturday and the photos should be up.

Cheers and wish me luck!

IT'S DONE!!!

It took me longer than expected but I literally just finished about 1 hour ago (it's 2am right now in Germany).

Now for the not so great news, the cable I need to get the photos off the digital camera is at my brother's house so I won't be able to post until tomorrow sometime. Rest assured though, I think you'll like what you see...I know I do.

Cheers!

Here is a picture of my baby...tThe castle in the background is Castle Neuschwanstein. This was King Ludwig II of Bavaria's third and most popular castle. This castle's image was modeled by Walt Disney in the Disney logo. OFF TOPIC: I have more pics if anyone wants to see more.

Now the Boston 6.5 LF speakers Front. This turned out to be very easy and something that those looking for speaker trims may want to try:

and the back side. By the way, this glue (the black stuff) is very strong Germany hot glue. I jokingly refer to it as German steele
