fuse for amp, help please?

I'm not sure what you're asking - you know that you need a hi/lo converter... ok. But then you say it is NOT the case and need a fuse? I'm confused.... maybe you can expand on that..? bump up to the top for ya too.

What amp? What subs? Where are you coming up with 6 fuses? You need to give us a clear explanation on what you are planning to install - namely the specifications of the amp.
The amplifier should already have fuses (if you bought it new). You would then need another fuse in the wiring from the battery to your amp. Again, the right fuse depends on the specs of your amp.

If you could please give the Brand & model number of your amp - that would also help a great deal.
due to low budget i bought a "VISONIK VB-212PKG Dual Bass Box with 12" 1000W Subwoofers and Amplifier". i know these are not good quality but im a broke college student. im going to upgrade really really soon.
also, do you know best place where the remote wire goes?

If so, there should be a number on the top of the fuse (the one attached to the amplifier), which is the amp rating. I'm not sure why there are two different colored fuses in the picture. If it were me, I would not use the wiring kit that came with the amp. I don't see an in-line fuse holder in the wiring kit and you really need that fuse to be no further than 18" from the battery.
I'm not sure about the '99 4runner but I used my aux DC outlet that's in the back of my '04 for the remote turn-on wire.

What i was trying to say is that i am running the remote wire to turn on the amp. I would like to know which fuse on the car i could use for the remote wire, since i have a stock HU.
I also would like to know where to wire the hi t low adapter. Ive usually done installs on cars, since its easier because it has a rear deck. I guess i have to use the 2 speakers on the rear doors, but i would like to know if there is another easier alternative.
I looked behind the HU, and was thinking of running the hi-low back there but the wires were too short, and im afraid of splicing them
