GA 4runners : we need to ride

Found this thread just in time! 12th works for me. It makes perfect sense that I'd find people to wheel with just when I "give up" and get all seasons instead of the AT tires I've had before!

I'll look and see on FB I guess for the time. I assume "the Varsity in Atlanta" is the one on North Ave by Tech? I'll hop on FB when I'm home and can get there. (Company blocks network from FB, but can use the laptop to get there as long as I'm not going through their network.)

yea u got it right by GTech. so far by the sound of it..we have 6 or 7 people. its just a simple meet up check out everyone's set up..maybe plan something

but yea the 12th this month, which is saturday. 12NOON

Everything is looking nice for Saturday. Forecast is calling for mid 60's & sunshine. Bring on the sunshine... :D
 
I have not been to the Varsity in a hot minute, but is there any parking out in the sun besides the deck? I remember most of the parking being below that deck...

Just curious if we can find a place for a bunch of 4runners AND in the sun...

There should be......but just to make sure get there a little bit beofre 12 bc thats when everyone ill be rushing in for lunch. We could always just meet there and drive somewhere else to park and check out the rigs
 
In my infinite boredom I have attached a map of where I believe we should meet in the Varsity parking lot.... There should be plenty of spaces there, away from the crowds and in the sun...

Woohoo not leaving for the Hunt until around 2:00p-3:00P. Lets try to move it to 11:00a instead of 12:00p and I should be able to hang for at least an hour or so. Anyways I am going to do my best to make it down for at least a hi and bye...Trucks gonna be setup for weekend hunt...and have a bunch of crap in it...but I wanna get some ideas from all of you guys on what my next improvement should be.

yea the more the better! u'd have to see if anyone else wants to come earlier. I'm ok with it. but from the looks of it i'll be there around 11:45 or 12 in between.

looks good. do any of you have CB radio? lets use channel 4. i'll see if the top of the deck has any spots if not we can use that spot u wanted.

so far all good for saturday
 
I and a few others will be there around 12. The parking spots up the incline where if you go left goes to the dumpster and right there is parking is perfect. Everyone can see where we are, there's little traffic, and plenty of sun. That's where we have always parked for events. Those are spots owned by the varsity as well.

Had a great time guys. It was really good to meet everyone & thanks for the pics. We'll definitely have to do it again sometime soon.
