Gabex35's Build Thread

I have the first production 2014 Shrockworks front bumper shipping out this week, and with that i had to make some decisions on upgrading the front. I ended up going simple and just upgraded the front coils from 550lbs to 650lbs to compensate for the bumper and VR10,000S i picked up. of all the things i'v done to this rig and the previous FJ, the one thing i was the most nervous about was bumping up coil rates. i paid a good amount for king and want to do everything possible to keep the plush ride the 550's gave me. I guess you have to pay to play though.

this weekend was a shakedown run for many of the new things i've added. I will be attending the FJ Cruiser Summit in Ouray, Co and visiting Moab, UT on the way back home, so i wanted to get the rig as dialed in as i could before the long trip.

Spent the weekend in Big Bear with some friends. The weather turned out to be fantastic and the wheeling was great as usual.

Nice pics Gabex35! Gold Mountain is always a fun run. Looking forward to seeeing that 2014 Shrockworks bumper, I bet you can hardly wait!
I am sure you will let us know the difference in ride when you get to test the 2896's out.

Is that where you were Gabex35 , Gold mountain?

Looks like form the pictures it's "yellow post" camping, not assigned?

Great pics as always!

The majority of the wheeling photos were gold mountain. We camped at Hanna flats on the other end of Holcomb valley

Yea your 4Runner looks amazing. I really like it. I have the same one, just wish I had the bankroll to build it. Would you mind putting together a mod list in your sig so we know what parts you have?

Ride looks great. If I get orders back to SoCal I'll hit you up so we can go wheelin.

Thanks man, all the mods are on the first page of my build VoodooTitan. I'm always down to wheel, hit me up if you come back to Ca.

Got the RCI skids on this afternoon. Definitely beef!
Surprised those front mudflaps are still attached.

What's hanging down near the front passenger lower control arm?

I would recommend some armor over the rear lower control arm mount. Much easier to install now, while it is still straight.
