And as for the customisation of the rack - what Frontrunner prides itself on, apparently - have you found it relatively easy to do?

I'm looking at a CVT tent, a Roadshower, stacked Maxtrax, a water tank, and auxiliary light bars for the front/sides/rear. Think it'd all fit on there?

Customization of the rack and its accessories are fantastic! Only negative is choosing which ones to buy each time as they can add up of you get them all at once.

As far as fitting all those things on your list, it would be a little hard to say for sure as there are a lot of different sized RTT and water tanks.

I have been able to fit my Mt. Shasta RTT, Maxtrax, two wolf pack boxes, and an awning just fine. I've never been a fan of mounting my road shower width wise but that's the only way I can see it working with a RTT.
 
...speaking of trying to fit all my overland gear on my roof rack reminds me that I should update this thread for trailer photos.

What was the downside to horizontal placement of the Roadshower - any functional drawback / clearance issue with the trunk?

I guess it's just more of a personal OCD thing. It works just fine but sticks out to the sides more than I like.
 
Just curious how the Kings have handled the added spring weight and lift. I may plan on running your setup with the 650lb fronts and Icon Overland 3" in the rear due to my rear weight. Did you ever revalue?
 
The kings have handled everything surprisingly well. I lost some (just a little) of that King plushness with the heavier springs but it's still butter smooth while wheeling. I haven't re-valved them yet as I was waiting for a rebuild later this year. I do plan to add a little rebound dampening in the rear to counter the kick my heavy coils give.
You won't regret the Kings, best mod on my vehicle.
 
Went to the American Adventurist Mountain Rendezvous this weekend and all I got was this lousy picture.

I'm liking the new lean look. Not to mention the bumper looks pretty good. Only wish the under the headlights piece was more detail like the Metaltech.
 
Beautiful rig you've got! Is there any downside or chance of future problems when you add wheel spacers? Do they have any other positive impacts aside from a more aggressive look and less of a possibility of rubbing? Thinking about adding them to mine.

I'm not in disagreement there. that's the only part I don't fully care for on the Pelfreybilt bumper.

There are pros and cons to every mod. The spacers give me more space between my tire in the front arc for my CO resi's. having spacers kick out the overall arc of the tire so you will rub more than without them. Some people need them for space between tire and stock UCA's so there are a few different variables. Overall, I like having them and haven't had any issues with my set (about 5 years)

I'd say the Pelfrey bumper is more buttressed than the MT one in that section. It's simpler and to me flows better. Just my .02 cents.

I think you made a great choice.

Those look awesome. Tire size is an addiction. I just went from a 32.5 ko to a 33.2 ko2, now, i see yours and think, hmmm. 34.4 is just over an inch bigger. haha. I would have to do gears first though.
