My gas gauge has been faulty since I purchased the truck in December. It caused me to run out of gas during the first week so I been filling up when I hit 250 miles. It will go down to 1/4 left and stay there till I fill up. This morning I fired up the runner and the gauge dropped to E instantly and light began flashing. It has a full tank.
I read that the sensor is at the bottom of the tank or something like that. If it's too much of a hassle to fix then is there a temp solution like pulling a fuse or bulb to stop the flashing fuel light? I don't mind relying on the odometer if it's a big job to fix.
