I find it interesting that on Wed & Thur of this week crude oil prices came down ~$5.00 per barrel but pump prices did not change. Funny thing is, when crude oil goes up in price the pump price goes up by the end of the day or the next day at the latest.

$2.97 this week, down from $3.05 last week for regular unleaded in Syracuse, NY. I think their pulling the psychological pricing because it "actually" isn't $3 anymore, but close enough.

Exactly. It'll surge by dimes and quarters on the slightest hint of increase in crude prices. But won't drop a penny for a long time.

As they said on the news, "It goes up like a rocket, but comes down like a feather."

Last I checked here in San Diego, we were over $3.30 at the discount stations. Sure the gas prices are high everywhere, but we usually average the highest prices in the nation here in San Diego.
