Just got back from a week on the road (Carolina vacation).
In the Charleston (SC) area, unleaded 87 was running about $2.89 a gallon on Thursday.
A Circle K store in Myrtle Beach had it for $2.77 on Wednesday but it was $2.89 at the same station on Friday morning.
Gasoline was running $2.85 to $2.91 in Wilmington, NC; provided you could find the stations about a mile off the main drag.
Upon returning to VA today, I topped off in Emporia at a BP/Amoco station and it set me back $2.89 at the junction of US 58 and I-95.
My 4Runner cost me a lot of fuel money this week, but you can't beat the comfort, convenience and smooth power of that truck!

My trip computer was a bit optimistic at 22.4 mpg, while my "real" gas mileage came to 20.7 when figured by the old-school miles driven divided by gallons pumped. This was respectable considering the weight carried, speeds driven and traffic conditions. I am still glad that I did not get one with a V8, though.

NOTE:
Diesel fuel, for those of you who love those F-Series trucks with the PowerStroke option, was advertised everywhere from $2.59 to $2.99 per gallon across VA, NC and SC.
