Gas Tank Size - 2nd Generation

How big is a 1995 fuel tank?
Just got mine and I'm trying to figure out if the gauge is correct. I put 17 gallons in today, and the needle was below E, and the light was on for about 20 miles.

How far do you get after the light comes on with your 4Runner?

With a ladder on the roof, I got just over 15 MPG this last tank. How about you?

I believe it takes somewhere between 18-20 gallons, I believe 20. It takes me about 45 bucks to fill it all the way w/ it on empty so, cost is around prob 50 bucks total (unless you use the unleaded plus, which is an extra few bucks.)

My truck gets 20...for the moment............ mods will change that. -.-

I'm pretty sure the manual says that it is a 18 gallon tank. When you're on E and the light comes on, that means you actually have only used 15 gallons and you have 3 gallons of reserve.
