Gear Selector Plastic covers

I'm not sure if that's the technical term, but my wife spilled some Coke this past weekend, and was cleaning up all around the gear selector area. Now it's hard to put it into the different gears. It looks like it's pushing/scrunching the plastic pieces that hide the various gear places around the shifter. There seems to be two of them. Is there any way to adjust them? I didn't find any solutions in the forums for this exact problem. It's under warranty. Thanks.

I'd have that center console pulled apart REAL quick. Clean it up right or you'll likely, at a later date, wish you had.

It doesn't look like it comes as a separate part, but I could be wrong.
Have you tried taking the center console apart to clean it out and see what's causing the problem?

If you have any questions let me know. I just had my entire center console ripped out over the weekend because I dropped a screw in there and it rolled down under the carpets under the seats... don't ask. :redbrick:
