Gen 1 Tundra Forum

I'm about to buy a 2000 Tundra, and have searched for forums similar to this 3rd Gen forum.

There are a bunch out there. Do any of you have a recommendation on one?

I have found tundrasolutions.com to be helpful.

I have an 01 Sequoia and there is a ton of info on the older vehicles.

To be honest I'm surprised this forum is as active as it is. A lot of forms have seen a big hit in activity the past 3+ years. A lot of people seem to have shifted to Facegram and Instabook regardless of how crap those mediums are for archival information. The E36 M3 and Golf R forums I'm also on see roughly half the activity of this forum. For the Tundra I'd expect even less as it's not as much of an enthusiast model I'd guess.

One of the reasons I bought a 4Runner was this forum. I was leaning towards getting an older vehicle and knew that would mean a lot of work. Seeing all the how-tos and informational threads on here made me a lot more confident about going that route. This place is such a great resource. Between this, yotatech, and tim's videos, I feel like I could get an answer to any question.

Compare that with working on my girlfriend's XJ. Info on Jeeps is spread out over half a dozen forums, all of them filled with people who have no idea what they're talking about. There's still good info out there, but you have to wade through some much more bullshit to find it.

ExpeditionPortal - this might seem weird but there are actually a ton of well built and documented Tundras there. TS has more technical info though for troubleshooting etc.

I was a moderator on TS back when the founder (Lon) owned it, but I lost interest in modding my 1st-gen then lost interest in participating on the forum altogether. There was some good tech info there, hopefully they archived it. Is there anything in particular you're looking for? I still have the 1st gen BTW
