I've been gone all weekend on a surf trip. Looks like I missed out on some fun stuff!
Against Diaz? I agree. I think his biggest strength (besides his mouth) is that he cuts so much weight. He is one of the biggest featherweights and that's why he's he's been so dominate there. He saw what happened when he fights people who not only can take his hits, but who hit back much harder than others in the lighter divisions. I feel the same with Lesnar. He dominated over other fighters who were on the smaller side of the division by his shear size, but showed that he can't take a punch at all. And that's something you can't teach. I personally don't think his return will last long. The current bulk of the heavyweight division is filled with big heavy hitters.

Interesting choice. Hunt is a serious heavy hitter. Wondering if they'll test Lesnar. I would think they would have to. Going from WWE back to MMA in 5 weeks is not a lot of time to clear your system. That is of course IF there's something in there. :snacker:
Love seeing Hendo still defy father time, but also worry about his future. He's a guy who has taken some serious punishment throughout his career. Don't want him to turn into anything close to Ken Shamrock.
Crazy, but also not too surprising being how he fought and what he probably put into his body.
Pens on the doorstep to the Cup! I'm trying not to get too excited.

Big props to the San Jose fans. Stuck around to make sure their team heard their cheers as they left the ice as well as most stuck around long enough to boo Sid (When he was announced as the Conn Smythe trophy winner) as well as the rest of the Pens when they presented them with the cup.

Weber for Subban kind of an odd one. I guess Nashville gets a younger guy with more of a future and MTL gets a proven veteran.
Hall to NJ was probably one of the most surprising. Hall was one of their best players IMO. I know they needed defence but it seems like they're giving up a huge player for him.

Definitely didn't see the Subban/Weber trade coming, but then again I don't follow NHL much in the offseason.
Any thoughts on UFC 200?

With Jones out I definitely didn't see Silva being the one they'd line up to fight Cormier! Hope Hunt puts Lesnar to sleep. Also hope Tate wins. Always liked her and a soft spot as she's a local fighter. As well as I think it would be good for the division to have a champion who holds the belt for at least a few defenses. And as far as the Jedrzejczyk vs. Gadelha fight tonight, I'm rooting for Claudia!

For sure. It puts Cormier in a tough spot though. Anything less than a decisive win will hurt his future draw, even though he'll still be the light heavyweight champion either way.
Some good fights last night. Claudia looked good early, but Johanna's tank is amazing. If Claudia could get her cardio in order, a rematch would be pretty good.
