Get wider?

I kno this is a very dumb question but is there anyway to get a whisper stance with out adding wheels and spacers? I just put a 3 inch lift on my truck but I don't have the money for spacers or tires. Any ideas will help.

Thanks

You could try a set of rims that provide a positive offset. However, rims cost $ and then you'd still have to mount your tires onto them.

Not that I know of. If you consider the wheel to wheel spacer pricing, it would be in your best interest to just buy wheel spacers to get the wider stance you're looking for. Buying new wheels and paying to have them mounted/balanced would cost far more than just paying about 150-200$ for some new or used wheel spacers. Unless of course you can find some decent used wheels for a good price that will give you the wider stance you want, although this is probably more unlikely.
Go with the wheel spacers when you get the funds!

Wheel spacers are your best bet. Keep an eye out on the forums, I got mine for $100 used. Deals are out there, just gotta move quick.

ok. would adding just a 1/4 inch spacer help anything? im not going just for looks but also for stability reasons. Mostly for stability reasons actually. i kno 1/2 an inch across isnt much but its something right. Any thoughts?

I wouldn't do the ring type spacers that just slip over existing studs. The best/safest way to go is something like the Spidertrax or All Pro spacers, these bolt onto the existing studs and have new studs for the wheel to bolt onto. This is a much better design. It does come at a price, but do you want to take a chance on the only thing keeping your vehicle connected to the road? I've actually had a tire come off while driving when using the ring type spacers, there wasn't enough threads for the lug nuts (wasn't on my 4runner though). Won't be making that mistake again. Love my spidertrax!

Yeah, Spidertrax are the way to go for sure. You wouldn't notice a difference with .25" spacers. The Spidertrax 1.25" spacers give it the perfect stance. Here is a before and after pic of mine, without a lift.

Hopefully my DS will be going on tomorrow or Sunday......tires to soon follow.

Here is another shot with the Spidertrax on.
