Glass Fuse to Blade Fuse Conversion

Hey everyone,
I have a set of Hella Fog lights on the front of my truck. A few years ago the little glass fuse broke and I never got around to replacing it. Personally I find the glass fuses harder to come by so I am going to convert the old in line fuse to a blade style fuse. My question is that Hella's website says that the new ones come with a 15amp mini blade fuse. I picked up a mini blade inline fuse and some 20amp fuses. Will using a 20amp instead of a 15amp make a difference?

No, a 20amp fuse won't make any difference. The fuse is just there to prevent a fire in case the lights short out so a 20amp fuse will work just fine.

just go get the correct fuses.
they're cheap.


that said, 5 amps likely wont make a differnce.
but, why would you intentionally use the wrong ones?
