Glove box latch broken

When I pull the latch to open glovebox, it doesn't open. Any ideas how to open glovebox to repair latch?

I think there's a couple screws underneath at the hinge point but not sure if you have to open the glove box to get to them. Can you see those screws?

I did take out the screws at the hinges and still glovebox tightly closed.

Ok, I just went out and looked at mine. Stupid question first, are you sure it isn't locked? If not, taking the screws out doesn't look like it will work because there are brackets that are hooked around the structure so they will hold the bottom up once the screws are out it seems. Hard to explain but the handle you pull to open it, there's a small space at the top. If you can get a small hook shaped tool in there and pull down in the center which is where the latch is you should be able to open it.... maybe...
