Gobi Ladder

I'm not sure if this has been discussed much in detail but I wanted to see what fellow 4Runner owners have done.

I'm trying to buy a Gobi Ladder and have looked of course at Gobi directly and also Trail Duty and EAD Offroad. Gobi and Trail Duty are currently looking into a shipping quote for shipment to Hawaii.

Anyone order their ladder from another distributor that would like to share their experience?

I ordered mine a last week from EAD Offroad with no issues. Are you having trouble finding somewhere that will ship to Hawaii?

Well I spoke directly to Gobi and I haven't received an answer in quite some time. I'm in the market to buy one soon, since the lead time and shipping to Hawaii will take some time. Just trying to find someone who can or is willing to do so.

When I ordered mine from Trail Duty. The rack and ladder came in separate boxes. The ladder box is really small and should be no problem being ship to Hawaii. The rack itself is another story. I'm sure some company wouldn't mind shipping it but it will cost you a lot of money.

Gobi quoted me $289 with FedEx shipping to Hawaii for the Ladder alone. Seems reasonable. I'm waiting for Trail Duty to provide a quote as well.

I'm working with Alex to figure out how much shipping will be for one of his Camelback Metal Gear racks at the moment.

Got just the ladder from Trail Duty. Good experience and would buy from them again.

I ordered everything from Trail Duty, but it was shipped directly from Gobi in CO. As soon as I bought it I was then put in contact with Gobi for shipping updates. Received it all exactly 4 weeks after I placed the order.

I have my ladder and not sure I am going to install it honestly. I might in the future, but not right away. As someone else mentioned it is packaged well, and separate from the rack.

good experience with Alec @ EAD. I've ordered from Northridge before & Alpha Expedition with good experiences too. worth cross shopping

Just ordered a ladder from EAD. Great deal they are having on the ladders right now.
