What's the height of a stock 4runner with gobi stealth rack? I.e. does it fit in a standard garage?

No drilling required. It mounts into the stock locations for 4 of the 6 mount points, and the front 2 have large pads that just rest on the roof.

It says on Gobi's website - I think the rack is 5 inches tall in the front. Yes, but make sure your garage is standard. Easiest way to figure it out is to park partway in the garage and measure how much space you have left to work with.

Personal preference. I'd love to, but haven't yet.

No.
Probably not (if you're lifted) I can't give you an exact height but I don't go in any garage under 7 feet with the Gobi and Lift.

I have one on a 4th gen, so I don't know about the height of the 5th gen.

But what I can tell you is if you want lights, you might want to pick them out ahead of time and talk to Gobi about getting the rack customized to fit them. I'm having difficulty finding many lights that fit well (that aren't extremely expensive).

Also, it just mounts into the mounting holes left by the standard roof rack.

Otherwise, I love the rack!

I ordered my Gobi Stealth today.

To piggyback a bit, does anyone know of a good cargo net (bungee type) that fits well?

I got the sunroof insert as a free accessory and Gobi's tie down seems like a way expensive ratchet strap.
