Gobi Ranger Rack light setup

I am waiting on an order for a Gobi Ranger Rack and want to order lights to temporarily use on my thule rack. The speck sheet says you can mount up to a 6 inch light. My question the center part of the rack looks like you could mount a wider light then 6inchs?

I was thinking of starting with 2 6inch Rigid E series combo lights. If I can order 1 10inch and it fits in the middle I would rather just mount 1 light.

Does anyone have this setup or a rack they can measure?

I don't have this rack, so this is just a thought: maybe they are referring to diameter, thinking about round lights instead of bars?

Hey, kind of off topic but what made you decide to get the ranger over the stealth. I'm having a difficult time deciding and you don't see many rangers out there compared to stealth.

I chose the ranger for several reasons.

1) I really wanted the deeper rack, because I fill it with firewood for desert camping.
2) I have a thule rack from my other car and its about the same height.
3) Not every one has a Ranger rack, and I do
4) I put bins and other items and think its easier to tie down.

surprise surprise I called gobi and they answered. I was told a 10-12 light would fit.
