Good Buy???

Guys,

I'm looking at a 2004 toyota 4runner SR5 4x4, with leather and sunroof. It has 122k miles. Looks to be in excellent shape. The dealer is asking $12,900. What do you guys think?

Indeed a Good Buy

I bought my 2004 SR5 for $9500 with standard package (no leather, no JBL sound system) with 130k. However, I bought mine from a private seller, which is usually less than from dealership since they fix up and deal with warranties. Ithink that sounds about right!

Depends on the condition. Before you buy...have a independent mechanic check it out....Especially with the mileage. The truck shouldn't have any problems if it was well maintained..but unless you know it's history it's impossible to tell.

I bought an 04 v8 sport with 99k for 12k, so that seems a little high due to mileage try to work him down

Bought mine in June for $10.5K - 03 V8 Limited, 95K and has everything except navigation. It's in Very Good condition, but not quite excelllent due to some scratches in the finish. I would have gone as high as $12K for it to be honest. Bought off a private owner and was surprised I got it for that.

I guess I should look into selling my 03 V8 4x4 with 65k miles. These prices are way to high in my opinion. I got my 03 new for 29.5k if I could get 13k for my low mileage 8-9 year old vehicle that means it only would have cost me a little over 2k per year to own other than maintenance, gas and insurance.
