Good deals on light kits (I think?)

there are SOOO many companys selling LED light anymore, its hard to tell whats good and whats junk

Like Audi said its kind of a luck of the draw thing. Ive never heard of Woot and I used to work in lighting. I usually take that as a bad thing, but you never know, there are literally thousands of companies selling led lights.

No idea about the Woot lights, but if you want a company that builds full IPX rated waterproof LED lights here in the US, check out www.superbrightleds.com

I have a quad row light bar and a set of amber utility lights and cant say enough great things about quality and price. Solid components.

I went with one of the "cheap" brands, but at least they were straight-forward and honest on what kind of LED's they use. CREE's are the best but Epistar are a close second.

How I see it, if you purchase and install a "cheap" light bar for $40 (which is what I paid for a 24" bar) then it can break 7 times over before I'm losing money vs. a "good" light bar. If that were a Rigid, it would have to break about 12 times. They are super easy to remove and replace once you have the brackets setup anyway. The Epistar LED's are comparable to CREEs and that bar lights up my entire street when I turn it on, very happy with it.

The lights in the link say they're Lazer Star, which is a very pricey brand on par with Rigid. They have been around a long time too. If you look up the retail on those lights, they're priced at about 1/3 to 1/2 of normal retail. I think if they actually send you Lazer Star lights and not knock-offs, then this is a steal. Just use your cc or Paypal if it'll let you so that you can dispute any potential issues that may arise. Kinda like eBay. If I didn't have typical Xmas gifts to spend my money on, I'd be real tempted to pick up at least a couple of the hid's. Nice find!

I just go this off amazon for $37. Looks exactly like the $200 on www.superbrightled.com. Feels heavy duty, we'll see how long it last. But for under $40, Its a steal

Woot is just the reseller, seem to be tied in w/ Amazon somehow? I got 2 Little Giant ladders from them for very cheap, in addition to a bunch of other stuff; I might pull the trigger on some today but concerned about the knock off potential of course.
