Is the Super Mobil High Mileage a synthetic or regular type of oil? 5.6K miles seems like a long way, though I have about 4K mostly highway miles on the current oil change.

I'm gathering the parts for a tuneup in the near future myself... Thinking fuel filter, air filter, clean the TB and the MAF, tighten the throttle cable, oil & filter change, and spark plugs and wires... Still need to install the external trans cooler.

I'm averaging around 18 MPGs with mostly highway, over the very long term, and it's not good enough lol.

Mobil Super HM is a synthetic blend, not a full synthetic like the Mobil 1 oil line. But from all I know who use it, including Connor, it seems to be a stout oil and I would have zero qualms about using it for 5000 to 6000 miles. Plus its price point is excellent.

I have been using amsoil with the 5.7 toyota oil filter, I used about a half qrt more after putting it on.
