Got my baby (low) lift installed

On my 07 I had fj springs/shocks and 1/4 spacer on the front and really liked the look.

I wanted the same stance and the (this is the way it should have come stock look) on my 15 so tossed around what to do and I knew I wanted 5100's but didn't want to do as much preload as the 1.75 setting and I thought the .85 wouldn't be enough. So what I ended up doing is 5100's set @.85 with 1/4 top plate spacer that yields about 3/8-1/5" lift. I have the 3rd row weight so in the back I did 10mm OME spacers to make sure I didn't get reverse rake with the running boards.

Very happy with the look I think it's perfect with the 275's. Ended up with about 1.5 in the front and just shy of a half inch in the back. As expected the ride is much improved.

Can you take a picture square on from the side please? The angled shots that almost everyone takes are the most pleasing to flatter the vehicle but make it difficult to judge the actual change that the lift did because the front is closer in perspective than the rear.

how do you keep your car so clean in the snow? when i take my cars out when it snows they are all covered in salt.

Hope the ones I just posted do a better job! Sorry it's so dirty it's sloppy here today!

So do you think the 10mm spacer actually gave you the full lift then (with third row seat and all)? I ask because my TE does not have a third row, and I was contemplating at least one 10mm on driver's side for lean with .85 front. And are the front spacers from Toytec? I like the stance, as I didn't think one could use spacers with the Bilstein set up. Driver's side photo was telling, thank you.

I did get a almost a full half inch in the rear. The spacers are from wheelers offroad. They are just top plate spacers and go on top of the strut assembly regardless of what shock you have. The reason I mensioned the 3rd row is if you don't have that option it may sit just a tad higher than mine in the rear.

Thanks, understood about the third row, I was hoping it would/could not sit much higher as mine does not have that option. I like the rake. I searched high and low for .85 with 10mm rear spacers so this set up caught my eye. Thanks for the info on the front spacers also.

After a few days with the new shocks I can't say enough about the improvement in ride and handling the 5100's have made. Like a totally different truck after the shocks and an alignment. I had the toyota bilstiens in my 07 and they were an improvement over stock but not this much.

Ya same here ! I've only had mine for 1 tank of gas but man what a dif ! Have them on 05 but like you say didn't notice THAT much , maybe because their heavier but the way mine tracks now so positive . Gonna go in for another tweak on caster fwd up a bit , just a little drifting to right .
