I got my motor in my 88. Drove it home from the mechanic. I pulled the one from the wrecked one but for 450 I felt impelled to let someone else do the swap. My 17 year old next Tuesday has robbed me of this runner so I am on the hunt for me one. I have a few question as we work to bring this one up to speed. I will get some photo's, been busy trying to get oldest son in a house I have.
My oil light comes on, not at idle but with some RPM and glows dim all the time I think. Ideas? I would like some pictures maybe? of a easy place to hook a oil, volt, and temp gauge and what fittings I might need.
Something on the valve cover toward the front hisses?
Looking for tire recommendations...Found 4 TA solid letters for 560 shipped on fleabay, can buy Goodyear Wranglers from wally world for 74.50 each. I can get the tech school I attend to install for free. I reall like the TA, hate outlines but I can only buy 2.27 TA's for a set from Wally. Running OEM wheels. 235/75/15. Been reading a lot and looking forward to being a regular poster. FOUND OUT THIS MORNING BFG IS OFFERING 70 BUCKS OFF 4 THROUGH THE 21ST
