Got some parts coming for my T4R!

One of my customers has a mechanic that works for him that knows these 22RE's very well and is going to install my new head for me while in there I went ahead and ordered new Timing chain kit with HD rails, new gaskets all around and new plug wires. Anything else I should look at while he is working on it?

All the parts should be here friday said it would take him a couple days to knock it out so I hope by the next weekend I will be ready to go!

I would order a performance cam while the head is off. Check the rocker arms and make sure they're in good shape. There's a section in the engine mechanical section of the FSM that covers that inspection.

Definitely get a new cam, the engnbldr cams are good. With the new head, the new cam will make a noticeable difference.

I actually do have a new cam for it also but its not a performance cam just a normal operation one. I just want this thing to run good!
