Just to clarify some terms:
VSC (Vehicle stability control) and ATRAC (advanced traction control) are two different things, and both are different from ABS (antilock braking system), although they all use the underlying ABS system.
VSC senses vehicle rotation around the vertical axis (yaw) and uses throttle control and differential brake control (through the ABS) to attempt to keep the vehicle going straight, and avoiding spinning out. That's why it comes on and kills your fun when you try doing donuts in the parking lot. VSC is what was primarily at work in the OP's video.
ATRAC applies braking (again using the ABS) to a spinning wheel to transfer power to the other wheel on the axle to help get you out of stuck situations. ATRAC knows nothing about vehicle yaw, and will not save you from doing a 360 on the highway - that's the job of VSC. Generally the "VSC Off" mods do not defeat ATRAC or ABS.
ABS in its original form simply keeps wheels from locking up during hard braking, so that you maintain some directional control during a panic stop. It's the oldest of the technologies - ATRAC and VSC have built on the underlying capabilities provided by ABS as sensors and computing power on vehicles have improved. ATRAC is almost entirely software; VSC is mostly software with a couple of additional sensors added in.
