Granite Alloy GA9 on sale for $141 - just ordered some

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up that Tirerack has the GA9 (17X8) on sale for $141 per wheel. They weigh 24lbs or approximately 5lbs less than stock. IMHO, they look more aggressive than the stock rims. I just ordered mine and they should be arriving in couple of days. The wheels I finally decided on are 20X9 with +10 MM offset. :toilet:

You want to find wheels that are at least 0 offset or even better, in the negatives. My wheels are 18x9 -12 and I love the stance and look.

btw- You can also run spacers on these. Run some 25mm spacers which would yield you a wheel that is 17x8 -15.

I have spoken to a local shop that mentioned they can adjust offset, I'm guessing by shaving metal?

I'm not really sure if I would trust that kind of a job, but than again, what I know. :shrug:

You cannot shave the back pad of the wheel to create a negative/0 offset. You would need to add metal to the wheel which is not smart/possible/inexpensive. They are planning to use spacers. That is what they mean by "adjusting the offset".
