Update...

Well on Last Tuesday I took the 4Runner to get fixed. Insurance quated me $754.46. I thought that seemed a little low? What ever. I got a call Thursday that it would be done at 3:00. but I got that message at 5:30 and they close at 6:00 and I was 20 minutes away with no traffic. So I had to wait one more day. :bash: I went to pick it up Friday after work. It was siting out front all fixed and clean inside and out!!! Grand Total was $1,482.77. They said they found some bent brackets and some bent metal under the bumper. But it's all fixed!!!

$750 sounds right to replace the plastic bumper cover, including painting it to match. That's assuming there is no damage underneath the plastic.

A guy hit me like that in the parking garage at the U of A. He hit it so hard my runner moved forward and hit the cement wall causing damage to my front bumper as well as the rear, I had to replace the rear mud flap but it didn't leave a dent.

I like the placement of your TRD sport emblem. Can you tell me the measurments of the placement, ie: how far down fom window & how far from back of 4runner. Also, did you get it off ebay?

That's what my front one cost to be done at the dealership. There's a special spot on my Louisville Slugger for the dumb b*tch that backed into me and then pulled into traffic. If only I ever see that truck again...

Sorry to see what happened to your truck. As other members have mentioned, definitely check if the hotel had security cameras. It definitely looks like the person that hit you was going a bit too fast in a parking lot.

You might also me able to sue the hotel if it was on their property. And if they say they won't release the tape or they found nothing you can subpoena that as well. Some, well ok most, places don't care and won't even look and then just say there isn't anything on the tape.

:iagree: with all the above statements. Usually my 4Runner is far away from the entrance, enough that I could almost just walk to the place rather than drive. A hit and run is the second worst offense IMO for the lack of respect of another's property.

My FIRST and what always pushes me over the edge, is the lack of concern of another's property in my presence. I saw this fat d*****bag just bouncing her f***ing door off mine. First time, I can let it slide and it's accident, but twice and repeatedly... now you're just playing with fire. My actions at this point doesn't matter, because doing it right there in my face is straight disrespect, regardless if there was or wasn't any damage. If I'm standing right there and you're hitting my car, you might as walk up and spit in my face.

I agree with you with every fiber of my being! I had the same thing happen in my gym parking lot. I'm standing right by the back bumper on the side of the vehicle and this mexican comes out, opens his door and bounces it right off of my door. The thing that pissed me off the most is that when I came out I knew the bastard could not have gotten out of the vehicle without opening his door into my car. So I waited and chatted with my friends until the a-hole came out, watched him hit my car with me about 7 feet away and then I laid into him like the dog he was. Damn that felt good...

Yep I got the decal off ebay. $25? It came with both sides and 4 other smaller ones that just have the "TRD". I will get you the dims in the next day or two. I just got a new job so I'm kinda busy. You Know.

Haha, I like that. I didn't actually hit him though. He was way too small. I just yelled and threatened him. he didn't do any damage so I just wanted to scare him. I think "I will kick your ass" is pretty universal!
