Greetings from Appalachian Mountains!

Greetings all, I am a local college student born and raised at 3,000 feet. I'm graduating soon and will begin training for law enforcement with hopes of someday making the FBI. Here's my 01 SR5 (thundercloud I think) which I have recently been modding thanks to this wonderful forum (Thanks Andymod 2.0!). I've owned this perfectly good running 4runner for seven years now, but it needs some work. I'm looking in the short term to get rid of the chrome bumpers (the salt up here during winter is eating them up) and replace with all Sport model bumpers with the sport hood as well. Long term would include a 3" lift and some bigger tires. I have enjoyed reading this forum for a couple years now and have decided to actually get my hands dirty and complete some of these mods to improve looks and performance. I'm overjoyed to finally be a part of the community!

Thanks for the welcome! I've got a lot of work to do on this rig, but it should be fun to always have a constant side project to work on. I'm about to finish off the interior led conversion, then I'm going to try to find some sport bumpers, grill, and hood to go on this thing so I can lose the chrome look. I've already blacked out all emblems and wheels (the winters have eaten away at the wheels) with plasti dip. Love the work you've done on yours. Also saw that you've been to Beach Mtn before. I love driving in the snow up here and wouldn't trade my Runner for anything else.
