Hey all,

This is my first post, but T4R.org has already been a huge help. I bought my first T4R this past summer. Absolutely loved it, but after a few months I came to the realization that I needed to trade in my white 2005 SR5 2WD for a 4WD.

I now have a blue metallic 2005 SR5 4WD. Absolutely love it. My Bilstein 5100 shocks and Daystar rear spacers just arrived... I hope to add the new gear sometime this week (2.5"/1.5" lift) and trade in the stock tires for a new set, most likely the GY DuraTracs.

Does anyone know of any good places near San Antonio, TX, to go off-roading?

Cheers

hey dude, welcome to the San Antonio gang and to T4R!

Glad to see another from our area!

Name's Gabe, and I live right down the street from Sea World, and you can also meet my buds skydivingdude & also skylineGTRracer as well once they find this thread.

You can join us when we go roading, too if you'd like, and also just meet up w/ us and hang out/have fun.

Just shoot me a pm & let me know.

See you around bro!

Thanks guys, good to see there are some SA members on here. With all of the ginormous trucks running around this city, there must be some good trails nearby.

I know this is about an hour away from you guys but I went to Bee Cave on lake travis last october and found tons of trails and rocks, and some creek beds.

ohhh I'm up for a look.

Man, I found some guy in my neighborhood with an oldschool '87 or so runner, it's a bit run down but I may buy it off him and fix it up..

But yeah, as you can tell, this place is pretty fun lovin, and you defiantely get your welcomes to go around.

is it mostly like rock climbing? is so I would still go but ride shotgun or something. there are spots I know my 2wd can go and its still fun for the 4x4 guys.

ya it seems to be mostly rock wheeling from wat i could see in the pics... ya it might not be as fun for u skyline since ur ride is still stock height. Hopefully we can find a legal mudding spot so tht way u can take ur runner too.

if ya'll come up to the Bee Cave one, let me know - i might let Rascal get dirty there since its pretty much her back yard. as long as a 4x2 can do it anyway, otherwise if ya'll are up for a passenger i wouldnt mind that either ;)
