A number of electrical issues, mostly in slushy weather - suspect bad ground point somewhere... can anyone suggest where to look?
1) "R" (reverse) light on the dashboard is prone to come on dimly while driving
2) Navi switches to backup cam (related to above, as it senses the reverse wire)
3) Both of the above can be a solid fault when headlights on, perhaps as more current draw from the electrical system
4) turn signals and/or brake can also trigger the above
5) VSS Trac error lights and CEL are on - not certain it's related to the above but started at the same time so probably a common fault
Have cleaned the obvious ground near the battery and the battery terminals. Starts and drives fine. Have just replaced the gas cap in case it's the reason for VSS light and CEL.
Have searched a bit, found some info on ground points for 3rd gen, nothing for 4th.
Thanks...
