I paid for long tubes yesterday as well. Jason told me the 5 day counter would start on Monday (today) or Tuesday and then it would be 5-7weeks until the premium headers shipped.
Getting excited! Hopefully the fab time is closer to 5 weeks so that these can get installed comfortably before thanksgiving.

You can ask Ridwan from Titanium Works to get you the same ones that Formidable gave me when he sold me the 4runner. I'm sure he would have the measurements still from when he made these for Formidable. They came with matching nuts too. They are on my vehicle now with the headers.

Soaking it down with penetrating oil for a couple days really helped with the rust welding during the header install on my T4R especially on the driver side where things get pretty tight bc of steering being right there.

How many of you guy's will do the installation by themself? Can't decide if I do it myself or if I mandate a shop to do it.

I'm not sure, they were lumped in with the total price when I purchased the vehicle and was handed some bags of titanium to go with it thanks to Formidable.
On their website it looks like this gtr stud set (below) costs $200 so I bet they costed about the same or possibly more.

Benefits are increased corrosion resistance and high strength/weight ratio. They also hold up really well to high heat. Going to be really nice to not have to worry about rust in this area as the rust welding was serious on my 215,000 mile runner. When removing the old studs after 2 day soak down, a stud broke due to the rust and had to be drilled out. All but 1 stud was reusable.

I'll be doing the install at home, I have a friend that will hand me tools, beer and tell me what I'm doing wrong. I think this job will require like 26 beers.
I'll be using a guy who owns an 08 T4R of his own. Has already done the headers on his truck and has done them on another members truck too. I used him for some other stuff on my truck already, and am super confident in his work.
Being that he's an owner of these trucks, and has a really nice build of his own, I trust him 100% with anything on my 4R.

The long tubes do, the short tubes require welding.

No emissions here either. Right now I'm catless (long tubes to URD y-pipe) and the exhaust smell is a bit much for my personal preference with the windows down but with the windows up I don't notice a thing!! I'm hoping the piggy back ecu from URD will help with the smell by giving me a better AFR tune. It should be going on the truck soon so I'll keep you posted.
