Thanks, bro! I appreciate the help with the order. Now that it's all over and done with (minus the ladder), I can say that it was worth the wait.

You guys are killing me here :jump: My rack will hopefully be here next week.

Nice looking setup on the gray, gives me a good idea of what mine will look like.

A bit off topic, but I ordered the stealth rack and ladder through RiDE. I received it last week after a minor delay. I put it through it's paces this past weekend. As I was unloading the gear from the rack I noticed the powder coating was flaking off. Needless to say I was pretty pissed. I emailed RiDE last night and asked him to contact Gobi with my complaint. About 9am this morning, I get a call from Gobi saying they're sending me a replacement rack at no charge. Not too happy about the rack flaking, but extremely impressed with customer service from both RiDE and Gobi.

I just spoke to GOBI, my rack is with the shipping company, ETA thursday or friday this week.

My sunroof insert is "backordered" and is going to ship FEDEX this week sometime according to Sandra.

Hopefully your ladders are in the same shipment/process.

For what it's worth, Sandra knew exactly what my order was even though I was dealing exclusively with RiDE until I called today.

I can't wait for the rack to show up, I am on my 9th week of waiting. :driving:

Just got off the phone with Sandra. Ladders are not back from powder coating, maybe Friday, if so, will ship next Monday.

I called Gobi last week and they knew exactly what rack was mine instantly. "The one with all the lights." as they put it. I don't want to be "that guy" that calls again in just a few days. I will hold out a few more days before i call again. (hoping it shipped though!)

Current lead time for racks is still at 4 weeks. If you've been thinking about ordering a rack, now is the time. Remember, this is basically the peak of off roading season. Ton's of people are putting money into their trucks. I'm pretty sure all off road companies are pretty backed up right now.

I'm pretty much set on the Gobi Stealth, but want to add some lights. Specifically 4 sets of Rigid 6" on the front. Do I need to get the lights and send them to Gobi for brackets, or is this something that is standard and brackets readily available?

However, if you're considering four 6" light bars at the front, why not just one 40" light bar for almost the same price?

Hbryanlopez- The longer you wait the longer you hold off the inevitable. You know you're going to get this rack eventually.

Ag99JYD- This is the same setup as Adio3x. You can purchase Rigid SR cradles which will mount to the stock Gobi Stealth light tabs or have Gobi custom make some tabs to mount the lights directly to the rack without the need for cradles. This costs a little bit more and will increase your lead time. If you opt to have Gobi make the light tabs you do not need to send in your lights. They have the lights there to use as mock up pieces.

IMHO just go with 1 SR40.

Any particular reason you went with the SR40 over the E-Series? Would the E-Series not fit as well as the SR40?

I went with the SR because I didn't see the need for an extra row of 40 LED's. The SR is way more light then I'll ever need. I also liked the sleekness of the SR40 on the Gobi Stealth.

I don't see a problem with mounting the E series to the Gobi. They would just have to angle the mounts out to clear the top bar of the rack. Gobi will be able to do that no problem.

My original thinking was that I wanted 2 spot and 2 flood sets. But then I saw a post on her where someone mounted a 20" set in the lower grille of a TE, along with a ~40" strip on the roof rack. I'm not sold on which way I want to go now, but thankfully Ride was quick with a reply, so I can order the Gobi and contemplate while it is being made.

I agree. The 40" does look sleek. However, I guided Limamike to go with four 6". You will have the capability to aim the outside lights outward. With the 40, what you see is what you get. Don't get me wrong, it's plenty.

I mounted mine under the rack.
