I would love to hang out and meet some 4Runner enthusiasts; my wife even gave me the okay. 4 days at 1200km/day then 3 days camping plus 4 days back = one crazy trip. Unfortunately can't get off work. Woe is me. :crybaby:

Bust apart the stereotypes! Go camping! Wear some kind of eyeball-themed pendant and it will protect you from your family's curses, then they'll get over it. We'll all go to Uncle George's afterwards for some fried cheese...

My wife has officially OK'd my camping trip with my new internet friends. I am flying back from the Bahamas on Thursday, so it will be a nice cap to a sweet vacation. Picking up a buddy of mine in Leesburg...he has guns! Hopefully I can squeeze in a few more mods over the next couple months so my rig won't be the most boring. Looking forward to meeting/hanging out with everyone...and drinking...a lot.

Not sure if anyone is big into mountain biking, but my buddy and I are, so we will be checking out the trails if anyone wants to bring their bikes and join.

I applaud your approach with the better half. Put her on a beach in the Bahamas, place 1-3 drinks with an umbrella in it, then ask permission....good move! Let this be a lesson to all the "youg-ins" on the forum, this is the way you do it.

On a side note, I got relatives in Vinton, VA. Wife and I will be coming up there for a few days in a couple of weeks.(Grandpa's birthday) Can't bring my guns, but will have Golf clubs and/or an unquenchable thirst. Not sure if I will be bringing the 4runner, but we should meet and say ha anyways.......be safe.

Of all places, you have family in Vinton. I can say I have never met anyone else who doesn't live in vinton that had ties to Vinton. My wife and I grew up in vinton...we may already know each other...or our families might know each other. My father in-law knows everyone!

I actually plan on being up there that weekend but not in camp 2 and probably only for one night and visiting family in Winchester the other night. So I'm not in for the group spot but I plan on stopping by to meet everyone.
