There's another biologist coming?????
So here is an unusually somewhat serious posting from me. Many of you have a lot of useful off roading experience. Perhaps we could take advantage of that experience and have some instructional demos at the cove (maybe even record them for T4R).
A couple of genuine ideas (aside from turtle stuffin'):
- vehicle recovery
- proper winch use
- proper hi-lift use
- tread lightly techniques
- how to act as a spotter
Some alternative topics:
- jeep recovery (and why you shouldn't)
- how to speak jeepanese (use small words: "grog drive jeep over rock, grog get stuck get angry, grog shoot stop sign").
- how to speak to limited owners (British accent, drinking tea with pinky out).
- help Doc use his TE knobs.
- firearms 101: ready, fire, aim.
- Cake decorating (came from Ducmonsta, but I will put in the alternative category)
If you want to skewer the idea, please be frank. If it sounds worthwhile, post up, offer ideas, and volunteer to instruct if you are able.
