I'm also heavily considering raffling one too!

Probably going with one of these. Availability from Hobby Hangar is what will determine. Hobby Hangar is kinda our co-sponsor when I have the "Customer Appreciation Party" at my shop. Some of you have been!







Whichever I decide to go with will be Ready To Run. I'll make sure there are batteries for the truck and transmitter. I'll be sure to charge whatever battery it needs prior to giving it away so that you'll be able to play right there!

I'm still trying to come up with other things to raffle away. But so far...
Something from Rigid Industries, Mechanix Gloves, maybe a snatch block, a receiver shackle, 99% sure one of these RC trucks, sounds like Limamike's $250 GC to Warrior Products, and other odds and ends.

Since there will be 20 or so participants, I need to come up with some rules for the raffle. I don't want one person to pony up $100 in raffle tickets and come away with everything. It will probably go something like this...

1. Each ticket is $1
2. You can purchase as many as you want
3. You will be limited to winning 3 of any of the prizes*
*4. IF you win the Rigid Industries lights or the Axial RC truck, you may not win anything else. (I think this is fair for everyone playing)

Let me know if this sounds fair.

I'll be bringing the Axial Dingo- talk about moving targets! It's geared for crawling and hits a blistering top speed of ohh 10 mph! However, it's locked and will climb anything. It even drives underwater...

I may just bring the CC01 Bronco too. Its full of interesting mods- still won't climb like the Dingo- close though! It's even slower.

Maybe I'll win a Wraith? Duc?!

I don't have much in the way of useful or interesting things to share (other than my stellar personality), but one potential hook-up I have is some car audio. A friend of mine is a computer repairman. On the side, he buys large pallets of BestBuy merchandise that is discontinued or didn't sell. He bids on pallets that are primarily composed of computers, but there is almost always other stuff.

His most recent batch included a bunch of car audio and I picked up a Polk 12in enclosed sub.

Anyway, there are a few other things still remaining (some subs and receivers). Any one interested enough that I should ask him for prices? Here is what he has:

I suspect if you were interested, I could bring whatever down and you could buy (or not) in person. No middleman markup, I'd just pass it along.

In addition to the raffle, I'm working on High Tech to provide a 'group' meal on Saturday night. That appears to be the night that everyone should be there.

Most likely it will just be burgers and dogs (similar to our Customer Appreciation Party). So, I will most likely bring a full size grill, burgers, dogs, buns, and chips. I'll leave the 'beverages' up to you guys!

After the cookout, we can hold the raffle. I will list prizes as I collect them.
