This reminds me...if you guys have seen our Facebook page, you'll see a bunch of Jeeps parked in front of the shop. I'd like to dethrone those Jeeps and get a photo of a bunch of 5th gens in front.
If we can make this happen on Sat am, I will definitely switch our Facebook photo!

Was thinking about meeting up with you guys...would love to be in that facebook photo. I am coming from Leesburg though, so it would add an hour to my drive. Already been to Gatlinburg, TN and back to Roanoke this week. Leaving tomorrow morning and making a pit stop in Richmond for the day/night...then of course the wife wants to hit up Ikea on the way North Friday. Long story short...not going to add anymore unnecessary driving to my route this week...unless its off-road! What route are you guys taking...maybe I can just time it right and hop in line around Winchester. Looks like we will be coming across on 7, then up and around Winchester and onto 50.
I did a search in Waze groups and did not get any hits on the T4R group. Anyone know how to join the group?
It seems to be working now. Search 4Runners from the App.

It will be an early morning...but hey I made it to the shop at 8 last Monday. So I'm in! :driving:
It appears to be a radius issue. The group was formed in the 22315 zip code, and if you are outside a certain radius, you can't find it.

I thought it would be nice to drive down here and have a cocktail, and take that thing out on at least a fire road...besides the usual mall parking lot, or flat grassy areas...
I'm sure we'll post a pic or two!...you're going to be mad you didn't come!
FYI..they have some pretty nice courses up here across the river in Montgomery, in the Stewart Recreational area...I knew some guys that use to ride over there pretty hard. Also down where I work is the Tallman State Forest park...see lots of guys biking in there...but like 25 mins out the city

I'm pretty sure I counted about 6 or 7 trees at The Cove. Maybe 8...no, definitely no more than 7.

Yeah they had the "Stewart six pack" race in New Windsor and put on by MTBNJ, some of those guys are no joke, cat 1 (pro racers, im only cat 2) on July 1 but I missed it because of work.
Im already pissed I cant attend as id love a solo camping trip buy my son has hockey (power skating lesson at 6 years old) and a birthday party to attend on saturday to boot, yeah me. He loves when I watch him because he likes to compare himself to dad. I look forward to the pictures and wish you guys great weather. Have a safe trip, ill be hitting the mall parking lot attempting to climb a grassy center Island and also the Long Island Expressway, dont laugh it could get hairy!!! Im going to attempt to fit in a beach run this weekend to test her out in the sand too, not likely thought with all the crap i need to do.

Sure as hell better be. I starting putting together all of our stuff and I can't believe the amount of crap needed just to sleep outside.....oh, I mean camping. M14 and 870 packed along with extra ammo for the G27.
Do you guys think we will need a tent and sleeping bags? :welcome:
