Definitely a GREAT time! I can't imagine a better group of guys (and gals) to go camping with. There were so many selfless acts in a span of 3-4 days of camping (and I was only there for one night!).
Qjake with the shirts. Billy, a huge THANK YOU for that! Providing event shirts at no cost to the attendees. And all we had to do was give you a size!
momo.75 with the design. Maurice, on your own time and your enhanced design skills!
Antman the organizer. Jeff, not enough good things can be said about you. You single handedly brought over 2 dozen of us together in the same campsite. This was a serious T4R mod!
phillyd2 with the firewood. Who else would buy the entire forest so we could all keep warm? Dave, thanks for keeping us 'lit' and 'warm'.
Spy45 the all around camp helper. Steve, thanks for helping with Titanpat's Gobi install. It was great to have 17 extra hands. Please thank Mrs. Spy45 for the bulgogi and heartwarming hospitality.
GotMo37 with all the mod help. Mo, your selfless attitude in helping all over the place. From Titanpat's Gobi, Kraeken's rigids, grill master, setting up the High Tech camp, providing use of your own personal trailer, etc... You really should get on this forum a bit more. You have a lot to bring to the table.
I know there are a lot of other things that happened during the camp that I personally missed. I'm sure I'm neglecting to thank some of you and please don't take that personally. There was just so much generosity and selfless acts, it was hard to keep track of it all.
One camp story that I would like to share with the rest of you that couldn't be there.
During the raffle, Spy45 won the RC car. The next ticket called was also Spy45's. Rules stated that you could not win both of the 'big' prizes. So, I'm guessing at some point Spy45 and zamboni had become friends during the camp. So Spy45 decided that he would give the RC truck to zamboni because he (zamboni) had displayed a burning interest in the Remote Controlled world. On top of that, Spy45, selflessly gave up the Rigids for someone else to win. Leaving himself with nothing but the pleasure of seeing someone else happy!
So, I had to call out another number to give away the Rigids. Take a guess at who's number I called.......ZAMBONI! So what happens next? He gives the Rigids BACK to Spy45!
After seeing the comraderie between two 'internet friends', I was inspired to give back. No one at the camp know that I had actually brought some inventory. I went into the back of my truck and pulled out another set of Rigids to give away. And luckily, neither Spy45 and zamboni won this time. But, who of course other than the guy who provided 'warmth' for most us, phillyd2!
Congrats you guys! Thanks everyone for a fantastic time.
