My wife hates you all....

I think my wife is officially getting tired of hearing me talk about the trip...all the different characters I met....and of course all of the awesome trucks! She refuses to look at any more pictures of all the new mods that I "NEED". Definitely regretting the Westins after this weekend....might be a new post in the for sale section shortly. Can't wait until next year...hopefully I won't be the "short" guy in all the photos and I will have some new mods to show off and I can go somewhere and do something worth taking a picture of.

Well, I can officially say that High Tech has worked on 2 T4Rs from NY (Titanpat and Kraeken)

Here's how some of us spent a little of our Saturday afternoon.

Titanpat's Gobi install went something like this...

Spy45 "How am I going to take that TE hood from Titanpat without him knowing?"


Spy45 "No, seriously, maybe if I bow to the almighty TE hood, it will just magically appear onto my truck!"

Ducmonsta "Steve, WTF are you doing on top of Titanpats roof?!"
"We've never had to do that at the shop."


Mrs. Spy45 coming to help GotMo with the rack.
Mrs Spy "no, no, no...you have to hold the rack here"
GotMo "I'm pretty sure the driver's side bracket goes on the right"
Ducmonstas thinking....."where are my guys at the shop when you need them?!"


Spy45's dog Jesse "Oh boy, when's the BBQ again?"


A little friend came to help with the rack installation.

Duc "Nevermind, I'll do it myself"

But don't worry, Duc figured it out before attempting to load the rack onto the truck.

It was fun doing an on field install. Later, we install Kraeken's Rigid Duallys that he purchased from me at the camp.

And for the record, I did go wheeling with my truck. RTT and all!
I wish I could have gone with the group on Saturday pm. It just would have been too much of a hassle to put the RTT away just to set it up again.

This happened on Sunday pm, just before I left.

Man, I also feel bad for not making it - big D would have loved that, and wait, squirrel was in season? I like squirrel if it came from the forest, it's a tree rabbit. City squirrels ... not so much, since they're rats with better PR.

I am so jealous, I don't recall any mention of off-roading available when this site was selected, but I guess it just goes without saying in that part of the country. A last minute work obligation kept me away, hopefully I can make it next time. I did do a special mod of sorts, that I do not think anyone has tried yet.

His report- "No problems, it was a pleasure having you guys here."

I let him know to pencil us in for the same time, same campsite for next year.:cheers:

If you can even call it a "Mod" mine was stock with the exception of the Garmin stuck to the dash with a pro-clip mount. Had a blast!
