Hopefully this explains it more clearly.
If you use the main posts : fleet terminal and bend L-shaped lead.
If you use the small posts (with or without the Remy post adapters) likely don't have to bend L-shaped leads.

Most of us seem to use the small posts for accessories and the main posts for the alternator and ECM connections (i.e. The OEM leads that go to the battery).

I am not sure if there is a need to bend the leads (L-shape). Should I buy both:

1. Remy (this is a must since I have to use the marine terminals that is more closer to the edge of the battery)

AND

2. Fleet terminals (this makes long extension of terminal connections so there it may not need to bend the L-shape leads).

But I look at some previous pictures, looks like the L-shape lead did not bend at all?? Anyone did not bend the L-shape lead and can install it with plug and play?

I may be the one of the odd ones out but I opted for the no bending approach, accessories on the posts (winch, lights, quick connect, ect.) Wiring made more sense to me this way.
