Growl sound

Pleaseeeee someone tell me what they think this noise is!! Thought it was AC related because it would stop if I turned the AC off, but now I notice at very low speed it’ll still make the sound with the AC off. I attached a link to the video where you can hear it pretty loudly while on the driver side of the vehicle, but I just had someone tell me they think it’s coming from the passenger side. At this point it’s about to get taken to Toyota and hopefully they can tell me but this is my last hope that someone has experienced this before and knows what it is.

It's very hard for anyone to pinpoint where a sounds is coming from in a recording, you need to pinpoint where the sound is the most loudest and then we might be able to help you figure out what in that area could make that kind of noise, at this point it would only be us guessing whiich will not help you.

To try and pinpoint the noise you will need a mechanic's stethoscope, which you can buy at most any auto parts store for around $10 to $15, or you can improvise and use a piece of hose, a long handle screwdriver or broom handle, etc., if you improvise simply cup the item you have up to your ear and then touch the other end on various parts of the vehicle around where the noise is the loudest until you hear the noise the clearest through your "stethoscope", once you're sure you've pinpointed where the sound is coming from report back here for input on what it could be.

!!A few words of caution, to do this you will be sticking the "other end" near moving engine components, be very aware and careful and move slowly and precisely so you don't harm yourself or your vehicle by sticking the "other end" onto or into a moving part of the engine!!

Noise with AC on and no noise with AC off is a clue that it could be accessory belt / bearings / pulley related. Does the noise change pitch with engine revs? Take the belt off and run the engine for a few seconds. Hopefully the noise goes away. With engine off and belt off, spin the various accessories and pulleys by hand. You may be able to feel and hear which pulley or accessory is bad.

I get a "growling/gurgling" noise from driver side behind dash, sounds like the AC system is gargling or something, but not all the time.

Keep an eye on your coolant levels, that noise is one of the most common early symptoms of a failing head gasket on the 03-05 V6s. A waterfall/water moving sound especially on startup was one of my first warnings.

From there I started to notice the overflow bottle magically filling itself and overflowing, then a positive exhaust gas test kinda confirmed the situation.
