Grrrrrrr, Almost got it back on the road

Got my delivery today. All excited to get the beast back on the road.

Dropped the wheels and tires off at Discount to get mounted. Picked them up 2 hours later, and started the install. All good until the 3rd one. Won't fit over the hub. Got out a wire brush and cleaned it up well. Added a little anti-seize to the lip of the hub. Still won't fit. Grab the 4th tire and it fits fine. Try the 3rd one on the back. Doesn't fit there either. The bore is too small. Now have to wait a few more days for another one to be shipped out.

Level 8 MK6. I wanted something easy to clean.

I read in the MK 6 thread started by the Discount Tire vendor, that some of those wheels had the paint too thick and it was causing them to not fit. Once they sanded the paint down, the wheels fit fine.

Also, in case anyone was wondering, the MK6's and the 265/70R17 Cooper AT3's weigh .8 lbs less ea than the stock 2106 SR5 wheels and tires.

I love those wheels. What I really want is the Six Shooters, but the price difference is not fun, and there are 3 Discount's within 5 miles of my house....
