GX470 interior roof console with mic and home link

Includes the homelink garage door unit as well as the in built microphone for voice command and phone usage. There is a minor crack on one of the mounting legs. See third photo. This is a clean break and should super glue just fine. It has not sheared off. Or just go without the center leg, there are two more on either side.

Also notice the two holes for ambient lighting (this is like the Lexus has). I have a RX350, it is a nice to have when driving at night. The door/off switch will allow the front lights to come on with the rest of the center and cargo light.

Note: You'll need to add the new wires required (your factory 4th gen only has power ground, ign, sunroof open, sunroof close.) Should be very straight forward install for something who has a little electrical know how though.

Apart from the lack of wiring for the maplight door/off switch, is this a direct fit into a 4th gen with sunroof or does it required modding?

The mounting points are exactly the same. This is from my recollection. You'll need a wire for dome light, 12v for home link, ignition for the ambient lighting. And wiring for the mic if you want to use that.

I'm really tempted, its just that my interior is grey and even if I wanted to paint it, the words on the sunroof button would get covered up.

I'm gonna do some research and see if I can get paint to match my grey interior. Then I can probably just use the sunroof button from my overhead console. I'll keep in touch.

Also on the project, I'm still waiting on some connector bits in the mail so haven't started. I have however installed my new wheels and tires. Pics on this later.

Nice find...that is tempting but I kind of like your price better lol. I have a few more important mods to do first but when I decide to pull the trigger on an indash nav unit with blue tooth i'll get one forsure. I love the steath mic in it.
