I did, but they weren't bright enough for my taste, so I went with the Volt hid system instead along with 5000K bulbs. Very happy now.:bounce:

The H11 Philips X-trme Ultinon LED Bulbs are designed specifically for fog light applications by Philips. I would not recommend them for a headlight application even though they are great for fogs. If you want to stay with LED, for the headlight consider a XenonDepot H11 LED Headlight Kit instead. They are still rated at 6000K color temperature like the Ultinon bulbs but are brighter and less expensive. They will also give you a correct beam pattern for the headlight. They actually use a Philips Luxeon LED diode even though the actual bulb is not manufactured by Philips.

For those of you that have installed the Philips LED fog... what is your experience so far?
The reason I ask is that I bought mine recently (less than 1 month ago) and one of them is flickering (as if there is a loose connection). Sometimes it stays off, then comes back on later.
I've checked everything which leads me to think I have a bad unit.
Anyone have any problems? Or am I just unlucky?

The kit will replicate your OEM beam pattern. Judging by your signature, you have a 2013 4runner which means that you have reflective headlights. The reflective headlights do not have as defined of a cut-off as the projector headlights, so an HID kit would not be as "ideal" in this situation.

Thanks for the note. I did not purchase these bulbs from you. I found a place which had a better price. I am dealing with them now to try to get it resolved.
Your customer service is undeniable based on posts from this forum, but the company I purchased from had a price that couldn't be ignored.
Hopefully they will resolve my issue. Otherwise I'm in the market for another set!
For those that are curious, the flickering got worse. At times the flickering would be in the form of lesser (dimmer) output. Other times it would go out completely. I swapped the bulbs and sure enough the problem follows the bulb (and not something really weird going on). I suspect there is a bad connection somewhere. If I giggle the wires, i can get the flickering to start or stop. Of course, this is not 100% repeatable.
All in all, I'm really pleased with the light output (I bought the yellow ones). They are superior to Lamin-x or factory halogen.
Just wish they worked out of the box!

I just installed the "OPT7 LED Headlight Bulbs w/ Clear Arc-Beam" on my '16 this weekend. The install was pretty straight forward but the heat sink for the drivers side was rubbing and not allowing me to tighten all the way. I filed down the gasket and the heat sink a touch and it screwed in nicely. The lights look great and have a nice even spread.

It's not going to be bright enough. If you prefer LED, then you are better off going with the H11 XenonDepot H11 LED kits as they put out more light.

Thanks Steve. I got a bit anxious and place an order with y'all on the Philips LEDs last night with a few other bulbs I wanted.
I'll probably pass the off to a buddy for his fogs.
