so, it appears as though hackers have managed to steal passwords, email addresses, and other pertinent data from vBulletin - which sites like this one and many other forums use.

Link works, probably blocked on your network.

That said, while this is critically important to the users, this is a main forum item and probably even should be a global announcement. Not a 5th gen specific or even related item.

Link works for me and shows mine was hacked. I also put in another email, never used on such sites, and it shows not hacked.

My accounts that were hacked...

TheNewX.org (from when I had my Xterra pre 2012)

ClubXterra.org(again pre 2012)

SnowboardingForum.com (I don't know the last time I was on that...didn't even know it still existed, maybe 2010)

This forum came up clean.

Edit: I'm also on Expedition Portal (as many of you also are) and that came up clean too.

so I either just gave them my info, or im clean. lol.



I got a message from the admin yesterday on another site im on. about a security breach, and a SITE WIDE password change requirement.

must have been pretty bad if they are requiring all 100K users to change their PW's.
