Had an accident need advice

Ok so I had a small mishap thanks to these fu$&@&= icy roads. I was descending a hill in my neighborhood and at the bottom of the hill is a left turn, well basically I turned the vehicle sideways hoping I'd stop. Well I didn't I slid sideways into the curb and I hit it HARD. I got out thinking that I'd probably blown a tire. They were fine but now my steering wheel is tweaked 30° to the left. Could I have just nocked it out of alignment or did I probably f something up. I took the truck up to 70mph, no vibrations noises etc. Everything looks straight underneath aswell

Oh and the back tire hit the curb first so my rear axle took the jist of the beating.

If have a 4 wheel alignment it will tell you if you tweaked anything and what Is tweaked if anythung

You knocked it out of alignment, AND most likely messed something up. I've been telling people for years when heading for the curb, turn into it. That curb has been there for 50 yrs. and will still be there in 50yrs. Your suspension doesn't stand a chance if you hit it sideways. That said...

I hope you didn't bend your rear axle housing, shafts are easily replaced.

Frankly it is impossible for anyone to tell you the damage done without an alignment check. Could you have just knocked it out of alignment? Yes.
Could you have hit the curb and traveled through space and time to determine only that this country is headed down the toilet? Yes.

Simply go get your alignment checked, it will tell you a lot.

Had this happen to me once in a lower, smaller car and it bent my outer tie rod and lower control arm on that side. New parts and alignment, and she was back in action. Show us some pics
