hard accel to slalling

so i hard accel and when i ease up the brake indicator flashes then batterylight comes on and engine stalls
i cant find any info on the cause or similar issues... btw b4 it is suggested fluid is topped off. has new plugs but not wires or boots... has a k&n drop in filter and an exhaust... only code that ive seen come up was a p0170 but not when this is happening

check your grounds.

checked my grounds, theyre all good, replaced my fuel filter, wires and coil boots, ran seafoam and the brake light still will flash after hard accel but stalling has decreased to a small studder then runs normal
this issue has me stumped the only new addition to the truck (i installed it the same night this started) is ne rear shocks and coil spring boosters

check your alternator and or other power leads. sounds to me like a short in the electrical, and or charging system. check your battery terminals for corrosion, check cables/wires going into the fuse/relay box... but i think its something to do with the alt, maybe go have it tested, almost sounds like its spiking or surging, and that could be bad

Sounds like an o2 sensor to me...

Our old 4runner did that, it had 240k on it. After a 5,000rpm accel, if i dropped it down to idle it would just die as if it has no fuel. I was leaning towards fuel pump on it but we sold it sold it before it was fixed.

My old 88 with the 3.slow did the same thing if I got on the gas hard and the slowed down real fast...never could fiqure it out. When I first got my 2000 4runner it done the same thing a couple of times, but has failed to do it again for the last year an a half?

Check the VSS (vehichle speed sensor) per the FSM.

okay so after checking everything i looked at my MAF sensor and it looked burnt, after replacing it with a oem toyota part from NAPA(i work there and if you order the ATM line its oem in the toyota box just a fyi) and it helped but the stalling still occurs.....

on another site it was suggested to replace the tps and im going to try it, as far as i can tell the truck runs great other wise... its getting about 20mpg mixed driving. but any other suggestions are welcome
