Hard shell. Perhaps I lost it in the thread but thought you were waiting on some more info before you got yours to check quality before everyone sent $ in.

Yeah, the conversation you quoted was in regards to a soft tent for a member on here.

Regarding the hard shell, I'm trying to get them to send it to me without me having to provide my passport to them. The first time I've been asked for it and I'm clarifying why its needed before ordering. I will update this thread once I get everything squared away.

UPDATE: Landed cost for these in Los Angeles will be $1400 with a 10 unit minimum order. This includes broker fees at port.

With the radio silence on this thread but your activity on others, I'm assuming this group buy isn't going to come together. Could you let us know if you're just waiting on manufacturer or if you've moved on. Would love to make it happen with you but will move on if you have...no worries.

That price is unfortunately outdated. Individual units are around 2k right now. 10 or more would bring the price down by a few hundred. I'd be more than happy to order them for anyone interested.
