Has anyone done a straight pipe set up on a v8 4th gen.

Hi I'm am new to this forum as I just picked up a 2004 v8 4runner and was looking to see if it's been done and if so how did it sound? I just came from a 07 dodge charger r/t but was hit by a drunk driver that totaled it out........ Suks but my charger had staright pipes and sounded mean!!!! I know it's a 5.7 vs a 4.7 bit just want a loud set up that doesn't sound nasty you know? Input would be appricaited, thanks

No but I will be as soon as I can find a sawzall that I can borrow from someone. I don't really know if I'll like it but I did it on my V6 and it was pretty cool. Loud. But fun. Thing is, I forgot to get my muffler from the shop that did it back then, and now I need to take the flowmaster off my V8 so I can put it on the V6 that my mother drives occasionally to maintain. Can't have my mom driving around with straights. Later on, I'll get a new pipe for my V8.

Actually, yes. Google 4runner straight pipe. Somone did and there's a youtube video.
