Have a set of Trail edition wheels and Tires (NEW) help with pricing?

Honestly the fact that you can buy brand new TRD wheels for a hair under $650 a set really kills the resale of any factory wheels. Prior to buying to the TRD wheels I looked around for for stock 17's, particularly the new style Trail wheels. Everyone wanted $500+ for a set, there wasn't a chance I'd take that over paying an extra $50-$150 for TRD wheels. Realistically $300 for trail wheels would have gotten me to buy them, any more than that just wasn't worth it to me. Like new OEM tires you couldn't probably get $100 a tire for.

Everytime I've sold almost new OEM wheels I'll always sold them one at time. When i sold the Detroits off my MK6 GTI I could have sold the set for a maybe $350-400, instead I sold them one a time individually and made about $1100 total. Nobody sells wheels individually so when you found people who curbed a single wheel you could get a pretty good pay day by being the only person offering them individually.

Exactly. "I screwed up last night, slid on ice and toasted the front rim on my car and the dealer wants $900 for a new rim" type of deal.

I listed my 400 mile 2015 TE wheels on craigslist for $600 and sold them in a about a week for $550. Your price is fair, but you might have better luck selling the wheels, tires, and TPMS sensors separate.

That tire is pretty popular among stock full size pick-ups, you could get a premium price for them.

The rims too, shipping (if you had too) would be much easier and cheaper for whomever buys them.

I would keep the TPMS personally.

$800 seems to be the sweet spot. If no one bites dismount the tires and sell them separately.

I sold a new set of tires on CL for $400 with only 200 miles on them.

Then I sold the rims for another $400 (4 rims) no TPMS sensors.

So $800 seems to be the going rate for the set.

Thanks again guys! Got 2 bites at $1000... So far so good....I'd be willing to drop to $800 if they don't go in the next 2 weeks (when my new wheels and tires show up)!
